CLIENT EDUCATOR NURSE SONOGRAPHER/RDMS

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Exempt, part-time, 16-24 hours per week and reports to Center Director and Client Services Director. Primarily responsible for providing limited obstetrical ultrasound scans for Life Forward per written policies and procedures and will assist the Client Services Director with the ultrasound program.  Provide client consultations and education as well as assisting the Center Director(s) manage the Center(s)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the supervision and training of center volunteers
  • Assist with client case management with a specific concentration on clients who meet the relevant established policies to receive a limited obstetrical ultrasound
  • Assist with managing thefacilitation and administration of parenting programs
  • Assist with supervision of thefacility maintenance
  • Maintain and monitorthe statistics according to current procedures
  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, employees, volunteers and supporters
  • Assist with special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed
  • Represent and network with other ministries and agencies within Life Forward’s service area
  • Perform required ultrasound competencies
  • Participate in appropriate training, routine staff meetings and prayer 
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Nurse with current state of Ohio license in good standing working toward completion of NIFLA limited obstetrical course and competencies or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with successful completion of ARDMS registry exam
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse people groups
  • Ability to manage programs and/or projects
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekend days
  • Ability to travel occasionally to other center locations
  • Demonstrated authentic Christian faith and comfortable with small group prayer and Bible study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • RN with OB experience/completion of NIFLA limited obstetrical course and competencies or RDMS with experience performing obstetrical ultrasound
  • Experience working for a non-profit organization and/or Christian ministry
  • Experience working for a pregnancy resource center

SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Exempt, part-time, 24 hours per week and reports to the Director of Development. Responsible to provide event leadership and participate in development activities on behalf of Life Forward

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under direction of supervisor, lead special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed.  Current Events include:
    • Annual Banquet
    • Walk for Life
    • Volleyball Tournament
    • Change for Life
  • Represents the organization at various community functions as needed
  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, volunteers and supporters
  • Assist with volunteer inquiries related to events, record keeping, and assignments
  • Assume receptionist duties, answer phone, route calls, and take messages when in-office
  • Participate in routine staff meetings and prayer
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Exempt, part-time, 16 hours per week and reports to the Executive Director. Responsible to provide operational support to Life Forward and assist with Development efforts.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume receptionist duties, answer phone, route calls, and take messages
  • Maintain accurate daily accounting, database updates, and acknowledgements of revenue
  • Distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail
  • Order office supplies, monitor inventory and coordinate supply pick-up or delivery
  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, volunteers and supporters
  • Assist with identifying administrative problems and inquiries
  • Manage payables
  • Participate in routine staff meetings and prayer
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
