Reaching Out in New Ways
Exciting things continue to happen through the ministry of Life Forward. While the past two years have been challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s also been a period of innovation and the addition of new services and programs. The Client Services Team continues to strategize and experiment with new ways to reach out to new areas, population groups and community partners. We ask for your prayers as we continue to build and grow these new programs and services as well as envision new opportunities for the future.
Loveland Location Launched
Life Forward launched a third location in Loveland, Ohio. This new location is equipped with the latest ultrasound technology and is strategically located in a region that is not already served by a pregnancy resource center.
Abortion Pill Reversal Referrals
Life Forward clients who have already taken the first dose of the abortion pill but have a change of heart can now be referred by Life Forward to local life-affirming physicians for treatment that can reverse this process.
Language Translation Services
In order to serve the growing number of families in our region who are not fluent in English, Life Forward has partnered with a professional translation service. Clients and team members can now communicate in real time.
Carseat Safety Program
Life Forward clients can now receive a new convertible car seat for their babies. Moms complete an online safety course and then review their learnings with Client Services team members.
STI Testing
Offering Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) tests gives Life Forward team members another opportunity to talk with women about their choices, relationships, and the Gospel.
Google Ads Grant Program
Life Forward is reaching out to an increasing number of women and families in our community through the Ad Grant Program sponsored by Google. We are eligible to receive up to $10,000 each month in free advertising.
Care Package Program
Life Forward launched a new Client Care Package Program as another way of encouraging the women and families we serve. The care packages are filled with prenatal care items, snacks and a devotional guide.
Uber Transportation Services
Life Forward is now contracting with Uber to offer confidential no-cost rides to and from our locations for client appointments. Lack of reliable transportation is one of the greatest barriers for our clients.
Beta HCG Testing
With a simple blood draw, Life Forward team members can use Beta HCG testing to help clients determine if they are pregnant. This test also can indicate if a woman might be experiencing a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
