Harper's Story
While struggling with the recent loss of her mother, Harper came to Life Forward to receive a pregnancy test and ultrasound. Without her mother, Harper felt the weight of navigating challenges on her own as a mother of six children.
When she found out she was pregnant, that sense of loss felt even deeper—she longed for her mom, her rock, to be beside her for such a significant moment. Harper shared that Life Forward stepped in to fill that gap, offering the care and reassurance she needed to know she wasn’t alone.
As Harper opened up, the conversation shifted to faith. Though she grew up attending church, her experiences were painful and left her disillusioned. She admitted that while she has been wondering about God, she never truly understood what a relationship with Him could look like. For years, she believed faith was too complicated or just out of her reach.
When her Client Educator shared the Gospel, Harper was surprised at its simplicity. She said she had never realized it could be so personal. With tears and sincerity, she asked to pray and made the decision to follow Jesus. Harper said that before that day, she would not have called herself a Christian—but now she can.
She left with a Bible and encouragement to begin reading the book of John, a name that she recently felt God drawing her attention to. For Harper, this was the start of a new journey filled with hope, healing, and faith.
